To continue moving forward the objectives of EAFPA (refer to aims and objectives) five working groups were originally established:
1. Commercialisation (marketing),
2 Information (on catch/landings/sales)
3. Quality
4. Transport and 5. Packaging (Logistics).
The initial work of the groups soon established areas of mutual interest and potential benefit.
The findings did much to formulate the political platform, priorities and proposed action areas.
Many of these issues will come together under the projected traceability system.
